Guided Trip Reservation and Cancellation Policy

Reserving a Guided Trip:

We use Brindlechute for our reservations system. You can book your trip right now and receive confirmation via email. You will need to create a simple profile to complete your reservation.

Once completed you will be able to easily communicate directly with the shop regarding your specific reservation. It's really easy to make changes, guide requests, or address dietary concerns.This web based system makes booking your trip paperless and seamless

Upon making this reservation, we require a 50% deposit. The remaining balance will be collected 2 days prior to departure. Trips booked within 2 days of departure, will be charged 100% at the time of booking. Trips go out rain, snow, or shine and will not be cancelled due to weather.

All Fishwest Guided Fly Fishing Trips & Tours start from our Kamas location, unless otherwise stated or confirmed by your guide. 

All Wyoming based float trips will start from Evanston WY, or Kemmerer WY unless otherwise stated or confirmed by your guide. 

Please be aware of the starting location of the trip you are reserving.

Cancellations Of Utah and Wyoming Based Guided Trips:

Cancellations of all Guided Fly Fishing Trips and Fly Fishing Schools must be made at least 7 Days in advance to receive a 50% refund.  Any cancellations made within 48 hours will are not eligible for a refund. International Hosted Fly Fishing Trips:

Please be aware that Fishwest’s terms and conditions are in addition to any terms and conditions of the individual lodges and outfitting partners that we work with and represent. In instances where Fishwest’s general payment and cancellation terms are different from those of individual lodges or outfitters, the terms of our travel partners will take precedence and become the terms and conditions that apply to related hosted trips.

A 50% deposit per angler of the total package cost for each trip is due to Fishwest within 14 days of booking to secure the trip reservation. In many cases (depending on the destination being booked) deposits are non-refundable! With this in mind, we highly recommend medical, travel, and trip insurance!

Customers are solely responsible for purchasing medical, travel, or trip insurance, and it is not included in any quote or invoice from Fishwest. This type of insurance can be obtained from third-party services such as Global Rescue.
