Fishwest Fly Shop is located in the “Gateway To The Uintas”, in Kamas, Utah. Fishwest Fly Shop opened its doors in 2008 in the Salt Lake Valley and we’ve been serving local anglers and visitors to Utah ever since.

The fly shop is a full-service fly fishing outfitter offering flies, apparel, and other fly fishing essentials as well as a multitude of educational resources, hosted travel trips, destination travel consultation, and guiding services. The shop staff has a vast array of knowledge and experience to point local and traveling anglers in the right direction for a successful day on the water.

Fishwest is surrounded by some of the most productive Utah waters at the base of the Uinta Mountains, right off of the famous Mirror Lake Highway, and you can be on the water within 10 minutes of the front door of the shop.

Utah is known for its incredible hatches and productive small streams as well as the world-renowned Green River. In addition to in state angling with our guide service, Fishwest hosts trips to incredible fishing destinations around the world in search of a multitude of different species.
