The Location:
The Andros South Lodge is located on the eastern shore of the island of South Andros in the small settlement of Kemps Bay. The lodge is about 20 minutes by bus from the Congo Town International Airport. This lodge is not fancy by any means. You will not find any white table cloths or elaborate meals. Instead, the emphasis is put on great single occupancy accommodations with access to phenomenal fishing and the best guides on the island. Andros South offers world class bonefishing in a comfortable and laid back atmosphere.

The Fishery
South Andros island is considered the Bonefishing Capital of the World by a majority of saltwater anglers. The south end of Andros island is home to an endless network of diverse flats, with boundless fishing opportunities.
Expect to fish schools of bonefish that average 2 to 4 pounds, with other larger fish often swimming with the school. You will also have many shots at tailing and cruising bonefish ranging from 5 to 10 or more pounds. These opportunities will come while wading hard sand and marl flats or being poled along in one of the fully equipped flats skiffs used by the guides.
Recetly, the guide team at Andros South got a major upgrade in thier "ride" out to the flats. Boasting brand new boats from Hells Bay, the team at Andros South has changed the game for anglers that come to visit.
On South Andros, the bonefish is king, however these flats are home to many other species such as barracuda, shark and the occasional permit or tarpon.

How To Get There:
There are several options for flying to Congo Town. Our recommended choice for reaching this part of Andros Island is from Fort Lauderdale Executive (FXE) via Makers Air.
Makers Air offers two daily flights direct into Congo Town (COX). The flight from Fort Lauderdale to Andros is roughly 90 minutes:

All U.S. citizens are required to have a valid passport that does not expire within six (6) months of trip dates. Please ensure that your passport is not torn, delaminating, or damaged.
Andros South Lodge: Terms & Conditions
A non-refundable deposit of 50% per person is due at the time of booking to hold both space and guides for all Andros South Lodge packages. The remaining balance is due 60 days prior to arrival.
