Bio:
Born and raised amid the majestic peaks of Salt Lake City, I’ve always been drawn to the untamed beauty of Utah—I learned early that life tastes best when savored outdoors. As Kamas’s Retail Store Manager at Fishwest, I’ve found the perfect alignment of career and calling—melding my love for fly fishing, adventure, and teaching others how to share those transformative moments.
Fishing Experience:
Fly fishing runs in my blood. From tossing elk hair caddis on the Bear and Weber rivers at age four with my dad (and occasionally my great-grandma Hazel, who still landed beauties well into her 80s), it became clear that the rhythm of the river would shape my story. Though life took me away during my teenage years, the pull of the line brought me back at 23—and I’ve never looked back.
Since then, I’ve chased Cutthroat Slams across Utah, set two IGFA World Records, tested Wyoming’s wild waters, and roamed Idaho and Nevada for Lahontans. Beyond the Rockies, I’ve fished Louisiana’s redfish flats, explored Mexico’s permit and bonefish waters, waded Bahamian sandbars, stalked massive browns and Arctic char in Iceland, battled golden dorado in Bolivia (twice), and swung flies in Argentina’s storied rivers. Each destination adds a new thread to my story, but the current always carries me back home to Utah.
Today, my world brims with even more meaning. My little family, of horses, dogs, and goats, grounds me and inspires everything I do. Real estate has become the “how” behind the fishing adventures, creating the space and freedom for fishing trips abroad, quiet mornings in the barn, and evenings spent at home together.
I live where passion meets purpose: guiding Fishwest’s clients by day, nurturing my family by night, and always chasing the next cast in between.
