With a mid-length head and half-size heavy design, GOLD XP is the most versatile taper in the GOLD lineup. The added "extra power" relative to classic GOLD gives it the flexibility to cover the widest variety of techniques and casting distances, offering truly blended performance. Thanks to its medium-long rear taper and a balanced body for improved turnover of indicators and nymphs, GOLD XP is at home sending dries at distance, running heavier rigs though deeper pools and making quick shots from drift boats. GOLD XP is still perfectly capable of delivering precise presentations with delicacy, while its added weight makes the line fish and cast comfortably at shorter distances, typical of wading on smaller waters.
